Exercise

So many people struggle with health problems later in life. I guess, the problem we have is that we have a culture of quick fixes and immediate gratification instead of focusing on long term consequences that our behaviour now, would have later in life. Because we all only have 1 body that has to last a lifetime… Isn’t it logical to take care of it?
Life in mind
Chances of getting most illnesses, cardiovascular disease, obesity, osteoarthritis, pain, weaker as get older etc. can be reduced by regular exercise.
How long do you want to live? When you reach this age, would you still want to be able to move around freely? Do you want to have enough energy to be able to still keep up with your children when you are 50? Want to see your children get married and get grand children? If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, you might want to keep your future life in mind the next time you make a decision about your life.
Simple vs. easy
They say that there is a difference between “simple” and “easy”. It is really simple to live a healthy life, but it is not always easy, otherwise everybody would have done it. It takes self discipline to achieve, it is simple to say “I will do exercise 3 times a week” or “I will write 10 pages of my new book every day”, but is easier to say… “I’ll start tomorrow” than “I will start right now”.
Accountability
Out of every person that starts a workout program, only 10% of them ever actually reach their goals; of those 10%, 80% have personal trainers. Having somebody to not only help you with their knowledge and understanding of health and fitness, but also to keep you accountable for your decision to reach that goal, is a must if your goals are important to you. This is not only true for fitness goals, but also in business… accountability is everything!
Advantages of regular exercise
Stay healthy, keep muscle mass, improve bone density, weight loss, fitness, professional activities, Cardiovascular disease prevention, Type II diabetes prevention, improve circulation, de-stress, socialise, increase chances of conception, keep mobility, injury rehabilitation, obesity etc…
We believe in the following, so don’t use gyms for training.. home training and outside in the fresh open air is the best way to go.
Benefits of home training
1. Time - Not only does it take time to travel to and from the gym, but you also need to plan it into your day to fit in with your home/family life. Your training time can be halved by cutting travel time from the experience.
2. Fresh air is the best cure for so many things… it makes for a healthy spirit and mind and brings you closer to nature.
3. When you get into the rhythm of home training, you will realise that you can do everything in your home that you can do in a gym.
4. You can train in the comfort and privacy of your own home. You don’t have to get dressed or feel self conscious about people seeing you in a sweaty state.
5. In gyms it could be really frustrating waiting for other people to finish on the equipment you want to use, at home you own the equipment and you’re the only one using it.
6. You don’t have to worry about using dirty equipment, other people’s sweaty bodies all over the equipment you need to use.
7. Since the whole experience are being made easier and faster to do, you will be more likely to do it and you’ll never have the worry about travelling to the gym in bad weather.
8. When you get used to training at home, you will not have the excuse of “there was no gym/equipment” if you go on holiday or travelling for work… you learn to do things without equipment.
9. Using expensive machines in the gym may cause lazy core muscles since the machine does half the stabilizing work for you.
10. Machines used in gyms usually do not work through your full range of motion and your muscles will only work properly in the areas they were trained.
11. In-home training is more functional since you make use of natural movements and actions you do daily.
12. Booking an appointment for a massage or a counselling session, you would usually have to take some time off work to fit into their working hours. With my services, you do it in the privacy of your own home and you can book me when it suits both of us…
